We respect your privacy and endeavour to ensure your privacy is maintained when providing information electronically. You can use this software without any personal information being collected.
 
My Business App Pty. Ltd, owner of the software, hosts this website on behalf of Development Victoria. This Privacy Statement should be read in conjunction with Development Victoria’s Privacy Policy.

Collection of Personal Information

Your personal information, including email address, is only collected when you elect to participate in an online engagement or submit an online form.
Only Development Victoria has access to your personal information and any data/comments collected.
Your ‘Screen name’, ‘avatar’ and ‘comments’ will be publicly displayed, if you choose to participate via the following mediums on this website:

  • Unless you’ve asked us not to – to contact you with other information about products, services and promotions which may be of interest to you, and conduct other marketing activities and research.
If your Personal Information is not provided, we may be unable to provide the service, product, promotion or information requested.
 
Your Personal Information is held confidentially by Development Victoria. Development Victoria may disclose your Personal Information to:
  • Its service providers and project partners, including development partners and consultants who assist Development Victoria in relation to advertising, marketing, community engagement / consultation and technology services - but only on terms requiring them to comply with this Privacy Policy;
  • Other persons in order to give effect to legally binding agreements between you and Development Victoria
Otherwise, Development Victoria will not disclose your Personal Information, without your consent, to any other third party unless (i) necessary to prevent a serious threat to health and safety of an individual or the public, (ii) required by government, enforcement agencies, or regulatory authorities, or (iii) permitted or authorised by law. Note that in certain circumstances, the Commissioner for Privacy and Data Protection may request access to Personal Information collected by Development Victoria in order to perform its functions related to administering the Privacy and Data Protection Act (Vic) 2014.
 
Provision of Personal Information to the parties identified in this section may involve some personal information being transferred to and held by parties outside of Australia who are not subject to the Privacy Laws (so that your information may not be protected by those laws).  If that is the case, Development Victoria will make sure that equivalent legal protections (enforceable by you) apply in the relevant country - or will otherwise bind those offshore parties contractually to comply with the Privacy Laws and take reasonable steps to ensure that they do so.
 

Storage and Security

This software is hosted in a secure data centred located in Sydney, Australia. Physical, technical and administrative systems and processes are in place to safeguard your data and personal information.
 
Our software’s systems (including but not limited to computing, operating and network infrastructure) are monitored twenty-four (24) hours per day, every day of the year to detect any issues, which shall include but not be limited to environmental monitoring, network monitoring, load balancing monitoring, web server and database monitoring, firewall services and intrusion detection.
 
My Business App Pty. Ltd. provide controls to protect your personal information. However, there are always risks involved in sending information via electronic means including over the internet and you do it entirely at your own risk.
